Madara can be the juubi's host ? plot hole ?

Madara said he can't become a jinchuuriki in his edo tensei form, but how come Obito used edo tensei bodies as jinchuurikis for his six paths? Another plot hole? Remember that Obito specifically said that he "re-sealed" the tailed beasts in their dead hosts......sooooo why can't Madara do the same thing ? Because it's Naruto that's why XD

I also wondered this while reading the chapter...it doesn't make much sense that Edo Tensei bodies can't host any Bijuus to begin with, besides there is the fact you already mentioned, Tobi's Edo Tensei Jinchuuriki's seemed to work fine.
In my opinion this is a plot hole/mistake which doesn't seem logical at all since one requirement for being a host is a having a large pool of chakra (which is the reason why Mito and Kushin were Jinchuuriki's for Kyuubi) and Edo Tensei bodies usually should have unlimited chakra though Muu-sama contradicted this.

In my opinion maybe he mean that the juubi is too strong for an edo tensei body ? since he said "Not just some..." as if he's looking down on his edo tensei body. Either that or kishi was out of things to not make madara more OP as he was...

Well, maybe his Edo body would reject the Juubi and treat it as damage. The previous Jinchuriki body is already compatible with it and used to host such thing so maybe that's why the Biju can be resealed into their Edo form.

What Gaeshi said about past lives. It's also possible those chakra rods were used to control the Edo hosts. If they're broken, the biju can take control (I remember the Gobi fighting against the control, IIRC). Once the rods were destroyed, the biju were resealed. Also, it could be Jubi is a LOT stronger than a normal biju to control, and harder (if not impossible) for the rods to control. There may also be advantages for a living body to be a host over a dead one.

Really good point, after looking back ill have to let this one go as the previous jinchuurki were more six paths than edo i.e black rods n all the biju were sealed within the gedo mazo at the time. Either way its still corpses hosting tailed beasts but i think it explains why madara's situation is a little different
