Minato's Power Level

I admit to being one of his fanboys, so I get furious everytime he gets beat in those VS threads, but I can't make a counter-argument due to lack of feats. What I'm saying is the most hyped character in the beginning of the series(which is the main reason why he has tonnes of fans) can't be just that. What else can he do?
-If Jiraiya who was taught the Rasengan can do a large scale one, then Minato(the jutsu's creator) can probably do a larger one than Jiraiya's.
-We have information that he did train with Jiraiya in Mount Myokobu, so he can probably use Sage Mode(but didn't perfect it like Naruto).
-A stated that Minato was far above him in terms of speed and reflexes, which means he could probably move much faster than A(who is one of the fastest characters in the manga).
-Anko stated that he would beat Orochimaru up if he were still alive.
What I'm pointing out is that this guy was praised like a god at the start of Naruto, so we are all disappointed with what is curently shown. So here's hoping for a Minato Gaiden or something after this war arc is finished...

Hiruzen (3rd Hokage) was the most hyped. Said to be stronger than all other Hokage, and all other Kage of his generation.

I would prefer to see a sennin gaiden with Tsunade, Jiraiya and Orochimaru-sama.

Honestly, I would love a Minato Gaiden. I don't always show it, but Minato really is one of my favorite characters. Though in a weird way, they could make a unified Sannin/Minato - Gaiden. Basically, it would show the shinobi world during Minato's reign as Hokage, or during his journey to become Hokage (including Hiruzen's rule).

I think it would also be cool to see other characters, like Hashirama, or TrollKage and Muu-sama, back in their heydays

Sm was probably the reason Jiraiya made the huge one, he never showed to be able to mae it without.

Did be say minato was FAR above him? And I don't even think he talked about reflexes, though Minato is faster

I've never really liked Minato, he's to perfect, there's really nothing not to like. Minato is the kind of character you find in a 14 year old's fanfic.net story. He has a cool fighting style though, can't take that away from him. But yeah, I would love to see Sannin/Minato - Gaiden showing some of Hiruzen.

If minato and kushina were still alive, they'd be a major factor of this war to seal people. If only the uzumaki clan who were specialised in sealing techs were still alive they'd be the key to winning.

Being the creator doesn't mean he made variants given his only goal with it was a add his element to it. All you get from that is he had some elemental jutsu.

No, Jiraiya was the one specifically mentioned during Narutos SM training, Minato would have been mentioned too given how much it would motivate him.

Far above? He's a bit faster, enough to make it significant but A never said he was far above him in speed.
