When did kishi writing go wrong

I'd say from the start of the SWW4. This arc has the most asspull, annoying/lame plot twist, annoying fight skip, and many more. It's as if Kishi lost his spirit and trying to end this shit as soon as possible instead of taking his time to make the arc as positively memorable as possible, srsly. Otherwise ther wouldn't be as much fight skip, and deceased Akatsuki members wouldn't be defeated so easily.

At the beginning of part2 when the manga switched to Sasuke being the main character. You can back track almost all the problems of the manga to this event, even the ones as infamous as Nagato getting TNJ, it's all just for Sasukes sake and his redemption. Kishi fell in love with one aspect of his creation way too much.

kinda agree. But I disagree with the Nagato getting TnJ however. That's more involving Jiraiya than Sasgay. (Un)fortunately I'm so dumb during the first half or part 2 that I didn't realize that Sasuke was gradually replacing Naruto as main character. It's as if Kishi is mixing generic shounen theme with worse generic shoujo yaoi story (which involves heavy obsession over a certain character, in this case Sasgay)

I'd say after sasuke vs itachi battle

haters gonna hate and keep reading cause they love to hate, fan boys gonna love and read cuase they love it, and most peeps posting on this thread be thinking Kishi's got his writing wrong... yet they still reading it?? if you all have a theory as to when he started to get his writing wrong, why keep reading it? what could be dumber than reading a story where you believe the writer is getting it wrong?? Cant imagine a dumber pass time.

Part 1 and Part 2 serve 2 different puposes, Part 2 from the get go was never going to be as involved in character development as part 1, part 1 the knonoha group were all kids and it was normal to see extensive development. Part 2, made a pretty blunt statement from the get go, it was always going to be about Naruto and Sasuske, eveything else would be of distant relevance in comparison, if you dont like shuppiden for that reason, thats a valid reason, but you pretty much should have tuned out after page 1 of shuppiden, Kishi made no secret about this, he was overly obvious. Theres actually peeps that have posted that they cant stand how some charaters like Naruto have progressed so far whilst Kishi has left Kakashi in the wind... really what do you expect? Kakashi was already an adult in part 1, his lucky he even gets some development due to slowly learning to master his Uchiha eye. Ofcourse throughout phases of Shuppiden Kishi will switch the focus to Sasuke instead of Naruto, the climax of Shuppiden will be the final rematch of Sasuke and Naruto with both of them in god tier he has devote portions of Shuppiden to Sasuske in the capacity of a protagonist, and to those of you stating it should of ended at Pain arc,... wtf have you been reading...? Naruto ending at Pain arc wouldnt be the biggest fail of any manga ever. Naruto is destined for God tier, how could it end after using TNJ to beat someone stronger than him and Sasuke's plot unfinsihed??, its only normal as Shuppdien nears its end that he begins to rapidly get OP, to all of those wishing he would devote more time to the rest of Konoha group, that was never gonna happen, they were destined to be what they are now, his spening this much effort only focusing on 2 characters, peeps would by crying a lot more if he focused on all of them, and it wouldnt make any sense if the rest of Konoha group got overly stronger than their parents and reached OP status in comparison to the rest of the senior ninjas of their respective clans, as much of some of you would like that, it just wouldnt make sense. Lastly, its normal that if Naruto and Sasuke are to ultimatley get to god mode, its normal that along the way the new characters he introduces are of their level of around.

Dont get me wrong, im not a Kishi fan boy who has no gripes with the story, ive got my share of them, from TNJ, to aspects of Tobi amongst others, but as for his writing and overall story... I dont see anything wrong with it. And I dont understand why so many of you would continue to read it if you dont like the writing, Shuppiden was always going to boil down to Naruto and Sasuske reaching god mode... why has it taken some of you so long to realise?

And if you really want more character development, watch the anime, and no im not talking about filler seasons

Actually it does, Kishi is trying to justify Narutos reason for not giving up on Sasuke, for Naruto being able to change Sasuke(when it finally happens) and for Naruto being completely opposite from Sasuke, the Yin-Yang thing. Beginning of part2 destroyed Narutos character in many different ways first off he was showcased as very weak having not learned anything on his 2.5 year trip, he was turned into a crying/whiny bitch over Sasuke, he did absolutely nothing for hundreds of chapters instead we watched Sasuke on his little adventure, when an author deliberately destroys his main character the part1 Naruto that he created and that honestly in the words of online izanami made part1 Sasuke look like a common swear word for a female reproductive organ is when a series starts to go downhill.

Power development-wise, I agree with you, especially the development of Konoha 11. As you mentioned, unless Kishi showed that there was more that their parents did not know, there is no way they would go beyond where they are. However, some of the complaints are about the plot itself as to where we are going from were we were. As much as some people would complain, I think Naruto's character has gotten a consistent and gradual development while Sasuke's character has gotten separate pieces of development. I could say that my problem is that Kishi is using a very brute way of collating these pieces into a whole, and that is where my criticism comes.

Now as to if we should drop or not, I think even the worse work need to be seen before any criticism. The point is that we want to know the end of the story to see if we are being wrong or if Kishi messed up the plot indeed.

Part 1 was amazing so many i am sure thought that the start of Part 2 is just introduction to set up over all setting and it will change for better. 100 chapter pass in Shippuden Naruto still winning, 200 chapter past he still winning, 300 chapter passed etc.....geuss peple still waiting,
It is like i sayed before, when you are 600 chapters in to manga and all it takes 30 seconds a week to read a chapter why stop now? May as well finish what you started and see the story through?
