Does anyone else get a bit sick of reading about murder after murder? I mean, I love Detective Conan, but I kind of groan inside when I see a new chapter and know they're just gonna go somewhere and, yet again, someone they know will die, and most likely the culprit will be in the room! Then follows a long deduction, most likely where Conan-kun needs to put someone to sleep, and a subsequent arrest.

In fact, after a while I just skim over the deduction dialogue and look out for small-talk between the characters or side events to do with the organisation or love.

*sigh* I dunno I'm amazed they keep thinking up ingenious plots and murder scenarios, but still, it chaffs on my mind a bit after a while... :/

Well this chapter was pretty much the usual stuff, but they skipped through alot of stuff so I hope the case turns out to be good, I don't have any problems with the cases, but I just finished rewatching episode 174* so this starts out pretty blandly

I like movie 9 because Kogoro is a boss, but this episode takes the cake with the murders happening at ship.

Occasionally; but most cases are interesting in their own rights. I guess you have to really love mystery to keep reading this manga.

I personally really like most cases; just wish the BO story line would be played a little more often.

Well the bulk of detective conan is pretty much just cases which Conan solves. Admittedly it does get a bit tedious and boring, but when that does happen, I usually just take a break. Then once I've cooled off I'll go back to watching/reading it and it gets interesting again It's also what I love about detective conan. Like seeing a few cases, then something relating to the storyline, then back to more cases xD Idk, I just like the slow atmosphere :3

With the period of time there is something wrong anyways. Conan solved so many cases and isn't even a kid for a year now.

Well, more real time matches would be nice, where they are trying to stop a murder or crime while in progress instead of just analyzing a dead body. Like more cases with bombings, pyromaniac hunting, etc. Also, lay off the Hattori cases for a while, since they don't advance what we know about Amuro, Subaru or Sera. Maybe chapters where their is no Conan around. I just find it odd, that Amuro, Subaru and Sera seem to not do anything when Conan is not around. It took Amuro that long to find Agasa's house? Action can take place without the main character. In fact, it can happen simultaneously while Conan is with Hattori.

Yeah I agree... there's a lot more crimes than just murder... ex. Drugs, human trafficing etc.. I wish that there was another overarching plot...

It would be fun to have a corrupted detective as a villain right?

Oh, my gosh ! It would be the best ! But I'm affraid none of those ideas is gonna happening. Too bad.
Also, I think there is no drugs/human trafficking/rape cases because the story must remain for general public, don't you agree ? Even if it's such a waste.
