Wish one do you like the best?? Anime one or the manga/light novels one?

As of me I prefer the novel's one. The anime's Kirito is being so demonized. Saying he like being called a beater, saying he's over the others beta testers, etc.?? What is wrong with the one's creating the anime?? Seriously?? Kirito is supposed to be dumb and powerful not evil

Actually this episode is a dumbed down adaptation of the side story "Aria of the Starless Night" by the author published seperately from vol.1 of the books. It tells of how he first met Asuna and how he came to be called a "beater". It's not an anime-only episode. And the reason he acted like that is basically to prevent a falling out w/in the group. He made a "Lelouch" and took all the hatred for betas for himself so the other betas won't be persecuted. It's quite admirable really. Actually PK being enabled outside towns and cities was also a big factor. He didn't want players killing each other just because of misplaced hatred and jealousy.

and kirito is not dumb he is a computer designer and is the most adaptive vrmmo player out there. but he truly does deserve the name beater he is way over the other beta testers... also i think he took the heat off the the other testers to make up for the fact that he abbandoned cline and his friends (he was scared of the responsibilitys and the concequences if he made a mistake) this way he could stay away from the responsibilities of a guild/party leader and still protect the people he cared about (in the LN he had a friend that was a beta tester and he was worried that someone might kill her out of jealosy or rage at beta testers...)

And you can also notice in the anime that it was a hard decision for him as well, but Diabel final's word (For everyone) helped push him through. So, in order to save every beta testers from being shunned upon, he took the blame instead.

Beside, Kirito is actually pretty calculative. He usually just waits pro and con before doing anything, unless the situation is something that involves someone dear to him, he will lost his cool. To be precise, I think he's the most cool-headed person in the whole series.
