Roger's Fighting Style?

what do you think is the fighting style of Gol D. Roger?

The only clues we have are his rivals. If he had a devil fruit, it would have to be something destructive to have to be on par with the devil fruits of Whitebeard or Shiki.

If he doesn't have a devil fruit, his strength would have to be on par with Garp's.

But to be honest, I doubt he has a devil fruit since the series tries to make him almost a carbon copy of Luffy. Since Luffy' s fighting style is hand to hand, the same could be said about Roger. Also a flashback showed Roger using and gun during his battle with Shiki. He probably relies on haki since his first mate Rayleigh is a master of all three, then Roger should be a greater master of all three.

We know that he had a mastery of all Haki types, and wielded a pistol and a sword. i think he was a perfect combination of Haki, ridiculous strength, and ridiculous speed. i also think he was good at everything a pirate could do.

From what we've seen, I disagree with the idea that Roger has a devil fruit. Personally I see him having superhuman strength, senses, and weapon mastery.

yea, i doubt also that roger has a DF, it will make him less powerful except his DF is meat-meat or something that can't even hurt anyone. i agree that he is a 'super' monster haki because two of his former known crew was a monster haki user. if he is alike with luffy, maybe his real fighting skill is also brute strength but there's no scene that it show roger fighting in brute strength yet.

OMG THANK U! lol someone actually answered my little question, i appreciate it! and you're right we technically don't have any proof that Roger was a Haki beast, but it can kinda be assumed since his first mate seems to have full Haki mastery, he had the ability to "hear the voices of things" which kinda seems like it could stem from Haki, and he was the one and only Pirate King.

It would fit him very well and I would just go craze when Roger's voice actors say Kurouzu or Liberation or Black Hole that would be awesome

I believe voice of all things is the master level of color of observation, Rayleigh can't hear voice of all things so he's not master in color observation, he's very proficient but only certain people can achieve that kind of power. Conquerors haki is rare but acquiring voice of all things is even harder. Luffy just beginning to awaken the power and it will take some time for him to control the power.

We still don't know what that is. How do you know it's the master level of color of observation? I doubt it's related to haki. The only person stated to have it so far is Roger. Luffy most likely has it as well, I'm guessing it has something to do with hearing the Sea Kings. I doubt it's an offensive or defensive ability.

The only thing we know about his fighting style is that he uses a sword.

Other than that, we can only assume. I'm guessing he's a master swordsman and haki user. It's said that the strongest people in the world posses king's haki, it's easy to assume Roger has it as well.

I highly doubt he has a devil fruit. During his execution, he was restricted by wooden handcuffs, not sea-stone ones.
