so after reading chapter 10 it seemed like she made it skipped 2 more years or is that just how it is presently?

I was confused too and since chapters 7,8,and 9 are pretty much happening three days in a row, it's hard to imagine two years have already passed with only ten chapters out...very weird use of time skip i thought. 2 months might have been better than 2 years.

i absolutely don't recall this. The chapter either are immediately sequel or the previous one or set a few days later.

In the first chapter when the main protagonists meet for the first time, the girl says, "I just broke up with my boyfriend" hence the implication that two years have passed from that point on.

I think that it's translated wrong since it doesn't make sense that she wouldn't tell her best friend they broke up, and then after 2 years still talk about it like it's fresh, and if you read ch.18 after they'we been dating for half a year, you really think that those young girls in the office have been working there that long and if they have still didn't know they broke up (since they asked about him). So basically I think that was two months or something, just translated wrong or the author made a mistake (which is not unheard of).

actually i think it is a 2 yr skip... in the early chapters Ozawa says shes 26 but later she says shes 28... and in the time they start going out until the recent chapters over 6 months pass.
