Default Does the art get any better?

I read the summary and it seems pretty interesting so I thought I'd give it a try but I stopped after the first two pages because of the art. I think i've been spoiled by the art styles of other manga. Was wondering if it'll get any better and if it's worth it for the plot?

The art gets better. Lots better. Really. I personally like the plot very much. Try to give it a chance .

I donīt understand why people stop reading manga because of the art..... If the plot is good i donīt care about the art.... And you never know if the plot is good when you drop the manga or manwha after two pages...

Sometimes the art is so bad that it is unpleasant to even look at it ^^. Your ugliness tolerance is probably higher. But I didn't find first chapters of Magician unbearably ugly. Personal preferences are different.

In my opinion, the art is pretty good. The color is vibrant and the body drawing is pretty well done, better than a lot of crappy manga/manhwa when human body is twisted and distorted. It's just not the usual manga/manhwa style you're used too. I would say Magician's art style is closer to european comic than manga style. If you can't enjoy this new art style, then this kind is not for you.
Also dropping just right after the first 2 pages is way too impatient. The 1st pages is about an old wrinkley witch, the 2nd page is her room. What did you expect to see??? A fair beauty waving her hand with flower and bokeh blooming at the background?!!!!

I agree. Me likey the drawing style, its very refreshing and its very colorful at times
This is not a personal attack.
I'm not attacking you, just voicing my skepticism.
    Peace!

You know what? This is the sole reason why I also abandoned the manga in its first stages. I've looked this manga before when it was on its first 5 chapters and I was turned off with the art style. Maybe because the art style was very new to me.

Sometime this week, I came back bored and had to try something new. I found this manga again after many years of ignoring it. Tried it and didn't show much attention with the art and you know what? After a few chapters and so, I see the art style changing. The mangaka polishes his skill every new chapter!! You could see a huge improvement IMO from chapter one to the latest/current chapters.

Chapter 39 to Chapter 56 is one part of the manga wherein the artstyle is pretty different. Maybe the mangaka was experimenting a bit. Then after chapter 56, it's a good art style now.

This is somewhat underrated because of first impression. The story and character development of this manga is great!

I could say what I did back then (me ignoring the manga) is a fortunate thing for me since the manga has a lot of cliffhangers. Now, I'm having a cliffhanger with the current chapter haha.

The art gets much better to one that's easy on the eye and suit the plot. I didn't actually realize how terrible the art was until at end of the last chapter, it loop back to the early chapter (Ch1 or ch2) and I always get a mild shock like "seriously? how did I have enough tolerance to read it despite the terrible art?"
All time fav: Saiyuki series (<3 Nataku, my avatar), FMA, Bleach, One Piece, Death Notes, Noblesse, Tower of God, Beelzebub, Senki Senki Momotama, Girls of the Wild's, and Gakuen Babysitter.
Slightly more adult/romance : Shinkuu Yuusetsu, Kou'un no Rihatsushi, and Tenkiyohou no Koibito.

Believe me, i had trouble dealing with the art in the beginning (I mean i found Iremi to look repulsive in the beginning chapters but now I find Iremi cute to look at) So yes the art gets much much better.

Art is important, if something is drawn badly its hard to see whats going on. I just give stories like 5-10 chapters before i say "do i want to continue this?" And this story hooked me by chapter 3 ahahaha.
