Default Wow!! that hit him were it hurts

This is my first time starting a thread but i just wanted to say that the play ( Steel Snow) just b#tch slapped Arima in the face. It just flew everything his life has been right back at him. His expressions were really realistic, i could feel him flinching throughout the play. I have to say i never really connected to Arima throughout most of the early part book because i always felt he was still putting up a front even when he was with Yukino. He was always keeping his feelings hidden and when he said that being with Yukino brought fleeting happiness, i felt more distanced from him. But reading the play, i finally understand why he wasn't happy and he finally understands too. My favorite line was "Perhaps the more perfect i am, the more i'll seem like a machine or a work of art..." I wasn't expecting the play to describe Arima so perfectly and I guess neither was he. Oh well those are my thoughts, write what you think... or don't

    Default Omo yes!

YES! The play got you to understand Arima a lot more and is the beginning of the decline of their relationship from that day. How awesome was Steel Snow! It was so school play but wonderful with its artistic startings of Aya's writing career, it's the type of play you would see from an elite high school. It almost feels like the Author set herself in the mind of a teenager to write the play. With Arima you understand in later chapters that he is very dark and mysterious * SQUEAL* and we get to know about the truth of him, they work their problems through which is the best part because they all realise Yukino is his salvation.
Oh my socks there is character development in a shoujo manga, what is happening.... 1996-2005 awesome years for manga.
I agree how the best one liner was "Perhaps the more perfect I am, the more I'll seem like a machine or a work of art" ooooohhhhhh that really hit home, one of those nice slaps on the face where the sound and sting from you palm is so satisfying
