Kairi Shimotsuki's Brave10 S Manga Gets TV Anime (Updated)

Given how long the series is, 8 volumes and still apparently ongoing, I'd hope there's a second season. 12 episodes is not enough to cram 8 volumes into without horribly butchering the plot.

But yes, season two. \o/

Not trying to trample on any hopes here (because I would also dearly hope to see a second season), but it was mentioned in the ANN forums (here) that-

"Like Brave10 S, Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok and Peace Maker Kurogane were two other manga titles that were renamed (from Matantei Loki/Mythical Detective Loki and Peace Maker) after switching magazines. Nevertheless the TV anime versions of Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok and Peace Maker Kurogane still depicted the story told in the original manga runs."

It may just be confusion on my part that needs clarification, but it seems like the ANN article is announcing the Brave 10 adaptation that is airing now (the timing of the article seems to fit; which animes air is normally announced a few months or one or two seasons before it actually airs) and not the sequel.

It similarly says in the ANN article for the Brave 10 S manga that Brave 10 TV is the adaptation of the manga.

To summarize, the anime is called an anime adaptation of Brave 10 S but is actually depicting the events from Brave 10. That's what I think.

I'm still trying to locate the raws, but be they in Chinese or Japanese I can't find them.
