You know what. When I'm being ****ing preached to about how horrible I am for being part of a species by comparing that species to animals. At least have the ****ing decency to not have such horribly worthless arguments.

Animals are Animals. They have no laws and morals they will do anything and everything in their power to survive and reproduce. The only difference between Humans and Animals when it comes to Horrible behaviour is that humans can better themselves. Animals can't.

So please, shove your preachy messages up your ass before you embarrass yourself even more.

Despite the fact that this is a manga and the author might simply be trying to highlight humanity's common faults with the FANTASY genre (animals talking and transforming), you are still taking this waaay to seriously. Don't like the theme? I don't remember it being law to read this. While humans are being portrayed particularly negatively, it's not like these things don't happen...Not to mention the fact that all the 'positive' animals are animals that are looked upon favorably in general. Dogs-said to be man's best friend. Cats-a very common household pet. Monkeys-who doesn't like them? (and if I remember, gorillas weren't in this manga, and they are generally seen as the macho/violent type). The tigers are bad (violent). This is just a fun read that points out very common human flaws using animals that almost everybody knows about to act as a foil. Also, the author would have to be incredibly blind to the hypocrisy if she was actually writing this to preach to readers, seeing as the author is human.

coudn't it be that the 'animals' referred to are just like hypocrites or people who stereotype other people? judging a person just because of his/her race/group? 'killing' without knowing every move a person makes?

Exactly. Every animal has different quirks as humans does...just as we have individual faults. Which, the most common one: pride, unwillingness to hear the whole story and stereotyping a whole group of race as cruel based on a tragic experience/event alone. On the other side, they have a reason to feel that way because of how cold-hearted some of us can be towards animals(i.e through the dog prince) and their environment (which is, I hope, one of the reasons for their hatred) for moolah.

Maybe that person had enough of animal activists that are taking it way too far with animal rights to the point where a lab animal's life is more important than saving a child,which is how some activists unintentionally present, hence that comment...and more concern towards animals than helping third world countries/people in need...which stresses the desire for using their coconuts and have compassion, which a small number of humans possess. That, or I'm reading too much into this.
