    Default Chapter 13.5 One-Shot

It was kinda......bizarre? Or was it just me? Like I could kinda see where the mangaka wanted to go with it, and yet.... ಠ_ಠ

When it first started I actually thought it would turn out that the girl was just using him for his repair skills (since she immediately asked him to repair her DVD player), and that he would end up with a different girl. But clearly that wasn't the case lol. It's just my opinion, but I don't think this one-shot was very well done; the characters weren't that likeable, I didn't find their romance sweet, and the plot itself was just really random? D:

You might say that the mangaka was just trying to be creative and unconventional; but I've seen this kind of creative and unconventional done in a much more palatable way haha.

    Your thoughts?

Kinda fun to find out your girlfriend and the little girl you loved when you were a kid is a hose beast that's "very experienced" as well...

"hose beast" ha!! Haven't heard that in a long time...

Anyway not that there's anything wrong with that per se... Just kinda killed the "fateful" love don't ya think...?

I see what you mean in terms of emotional connection - it's always hard to get the readers to like the characters and believe their romance in a single oneshot, but I agree that for this one, some of that emotional bond was a little lacking.

I, however, genuinely loved the "taking apart-putting together" mechanic theme - yes, it is unconventional, and I quite liked it that way. Now, I may be completely biased b/c I am an engineering major, so I can appreciate some of the guy's technical tendencies. I also may be biased b/c I love Honey Bitter and the mangaka in general...and have high expectations for her work, lol. I'd give this a 8/10.

The "taking her apart" thing kinda scared me ^^;. I know people have their fetishes, and it doesn't always mean they'll act out on them...but it still creeped me out when I was reading it T_T. I think especially with the panels actually SHOWING her disassembled. Eeeek!

I mean, yeah, I did think that the mechanical theme was pretty unique/creative in itself. When I said I thought this was bizarre, I didn't mean the idea, I meant the execution of the idea. For some reason various elements of the storytelling just didn't sit right with me haha.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with Honey Bitter whatsoever...but I liked it. It was just the part where he was about to disasemble her. That gave me the creeps.

It was weird... O-o. When he was trying to disassemble her I was thinking that is he gone crazy or what? I thought that was insane! But still I kinda liked it
