I agree the only difference in this is that her mothers not dead. and for the record i still like this manga i just find it weird just how many things are familiar with fairy tail to the point where it seems like the author is doing it on purpose.

Not really sure... but it's the current trend of things...

Authors will try to copy other author's work that is popular, like Fairy Tail, DBZ... etc...

But they won't copy "totally" just part of the styles...
As the story plot and characters is still completely different from each other.

similar, nearly copycat but i'd forgive the author since this one is also interesting.
although this one obviously can't beat fairy tail in every aspect.

n i like lucy muuuuuuch better than lavi (or lavie or ravi, whatever) as i find lavi's character/ personality somewhat annoying. dunno why though, maybe bcause lavi is just totally useless n noisy, unlike lucy.
lucy is funny, not noisy, n way useful in battle.

ok, i accidentally confessed as lavi hater just now. hahaha.. sorry, lavi fans out there.
