Meeeh, I guess unlike series like Naruto or One Piece which just go on and on without ever changing the name, This kind of story goes better with changing titles ^^!

Anyway, I hope this one is as good or if it's possible, even better than the first one!

hmm are we still getting only the extra type stories like the b stories in the original or is this the actual series and its just gonna be all this pointless side story stuff. cause i rly hope they get on with the main story already.

Yes, this is the sequel. But it seems with these two chapters. These are probably side-stories that don't go with the main story.

They're still funny chapters though, but I can't wait for the actual chapter that forwards the ending of the original School Rumble.

o i see why the author release this manga under a slightly different name its beecause school rumble ended abruptly and the author wanted it to last longer but the illisrators of school rumble didnt wanted to continue it anymore so the auther moved it to another illistrator.<--- bad spelling lol

I think that that's what happened... at least the original one didn't keep on going forever like detective conan and crap ^^:

anyway, it's nice to see that the main story may make a comeback

I made this post on OM-forums a while back about wether or not there will be continuation to the main story:

Well there obviously is the small problem that there was some sort of conclusion in the last chapters of the previous series. The timeskip was propably supposed to be atleast a year if not more, otherwise Tenma really wouldn't have had the time to start studying to be a nurse since she was still in highschool when she transferred. And I doubt she would just drop the whole nurse studies just like that.

Tenma chose Karasuma, she found out that Harima loved her but he let her go and it seems like she knows that Karasuma also loves her back.

Yakumo had clearly given up on Harima, meaning that, that bridge was closed.

Also the whole Eri & Harima being engaged, while the engagement was for the reason of Eri being able to stay in Japan, it did seem like they were engaged for real this time and not in some wishy washy-deal like they tried in the early chapters.

So unless the author is going to just negate and reset all that developement, just like he did countless times before, it will be very hard for him to go back to the old triangles, without the majority of the fans of the old SR forming lynch mobs every time the mangaka walks out in the public.

So don't get your hopes too high. It's a posibillaty that we will get a continuation to the main story, but it will most likelly be very repetitive (it was starting to repeat itself a bit already in the first series). There is not much you can do to rehash and repeat the old ideas without them turning into crap.

So pretty much the only way the author could go back to the main story is if he were to completelly ignore what happened in the last 30-40 chapters of the series, but I think that would really get him lynched since he did do rather solid conclusions of matters and many things were revealed (Like Tenma finding out that Harima likes her, yet still choosing Karasuma) etc.

After reading through 3 chapters... I doubt it's leading back to main story. It's like parodies using casts from School Rumble. Each chapters is a gooky one shot story. Yawn.
