question about Aura in //Link

this is MAJOR spoilers, so if you haven't finished the game or read the manga then don't open spoiler tag

all the dot hack end more or less with a fight against Cubia, but this time in //Link the top part is Aura, and the bottem part is made of several main Cubia heads like the ones in GU. now this is what puzzles me, did Aura really become demonic and gone crazy like Morganna? or is the end boss Cubia who took on the form of Aura? cuz the name of the end boss more or less translates into the "Queen of Demise"
