I guess this is the obligatory S#!T GETS REAL Chapter of Kazumi Magica. What episode 3 Done to Madoka is what Chapter 4 is doing to Kazumi.

Incubator Race? Check
Angsty Expressions? Check
Unexplained Secrets? Check
Girls Crying? Check
Puella Magi trying to Kill each other? Check
Puella Magi Corruption? Check

its about time Kazumi began to follow the Urobochi brand of storytelling. Of course, all of these can be a red herring and a happy sunshiny rescue happens next chapter but, the way things are, It's definitely running things Madoka style.

You're totally right...But one thing in the manga really pisses me off. Madoka became a "God" to save all the Puella Magi's and prevent them from becoming witches, and now, some chick(Namely Yuuki) is going around and saying in Madoka's face "FU B!TC#!!!! I do things my way, so GTFO!!" and it's really annoying me. I mean, in the end of the anime, they became "demons" what happened to that?

At the Anime, Madoka rewrote the Universe in such a way that, Puella Magi never become witches as she herself drains all the pent up grief and extinguishes it. Furthermore, to replace the Witches, the pent up Despair and Hatred of humanity manifests itself as "Demons" which now the ones Puella Magi must fight. So being a Puella Magi still isn't exactly a fun Job as you still experience the despair and isolation of being one. Although at the very least in the Madoka rewritten universe, you don't become a witch and are able to pass away peacefully.

Thing is though, we're not sure if Kazumi is set in the rewritten Universe or not. (Or a completely alternate continuity for that matter)

I think its safe to assume that Mitakihara isn't the only Place with Puella Magi in the World. Theres bound to be lots of other Puella Magi with issues and problems and stories to tell. And Kyubey probably isn't the only agent that the Alien Race sent. If you want a Manga Series that definitely set in the Rewritten Universe by Madoka, wait for the Upcoming Oriko Magica manga.

I mean look at the Cover for Volume 2. If its a prequel, why the heck is Homura (without Glasses) a Puella Magi? And who the heck are those two behind them.

tricking us into thinking Oriko was the prequel at first so we would think Kazumi is a sequel....

Well it's not since Madoka turns everything with demons and magical girls dying instead of being witches.

And as revealed in episode 11, Magical Girls are all over the world and there since prehistoric time, so this might occur on other place than Mitakihara--- and the speculation I believe is that Kazumi and her friends will become the witches Madoka's friends fights.

But then, after chapter 4 this sounds unlikely but...it might be that this whole manga is Kazumi's witch barrier from her point of view? Maybe Kazumi wishes to be a magical girl like those in TV shows but realizes it wasn't like the reality so she became witch and get illusions about her perfect world as magical girl?

Lets try to think through things here. Why the heck would they postpone the release of Oriko Magica Vol. 1 if it was a prequel? When Madoka was postponed, Oriko was postponed as well. However Kazumi kept running. So why would Oriko be postponed if it was only a Prequel? However, if it was a sequel on the other hand, of course they couldn't release it as Madoka still hasn't finished Airing. Oriko vol. 1 was supposed to be released on April 12. of course we all know that Madoka still hasn't finished airing at that point.

Also, if you look at the cover of Oriko Vol. 1. Kyouko and Mami are featured in it. Which might initially lead us to believe that this is a prequel but notice, In the rewritten world, the only Puella Magi of the main cast that is still alive is Kyouko, Mami and Homura. Sources also say that Madoka would also be involved. But I guess the gist of the main story would still revolve around Oriko, the titular character.

Also, most promotional material already point towards Oriko being a sequel.... sooo... yeah.

The only thing to scratch your head about would probably be figuring out whether Kazumi is set in the rewritten universe or not.
