I agree, that hanami girl feels like a minor character that we'll only see at a distance. It would be a shame to [not so] suddenly introduce her as a possible love interest of tetsuo's. I like the way the current relationship is playing out.


btw, I wonder if the sunflowers in this manga have anything to do with van gogh's sunflower paintings...hmm...

The impression I get from reading this is Hanami is more representative of a certain type of simple happiness that Tetsuo doesn't have any easy access to. Moody, doesn't get along with anyone to his satisfaction, has a really hard time getting his thoughts or feelings across to others, I doubt he'll have anything more than a curiosity about her smile and happiness while poor Akira looks under every stone for who this mysterious girl is.

I've looked at the prequel Mizu no Iro Gin no Tsuki (RAW) and~

I didn't understand anything XD but near the end there was a chapter about a couple (I think) and they looked like Tetsuo and Hanami ;( there were also sunflowers.... but that's weird because a prequel is sth that happened before.... so it doesn't make sense yet I'm afraid Akira won't end up with Tetsuo D; aaaw my day just got worse!

I just finished chapter 8 and I am hoping he does not start anything with the other girl cause I like him with Akira, she really loves him and I wouldn't like this to become the type of seinen where the guy cheats and screws things up.
