Default Give me a hand with the maths.

Who is able to solve the problem with this equation.

If you look at how it's solved. -15/60 *X should be -1/4 *X not -1/5*X.

The rest makes sense to me but from there it's all gibberish because the next step relies on dividing by 5. Which would not be possible if my own math is correct.

Anyone smarter than me able to solve this cause it's giving me a math-migraine.

    No its correct.

    The 8x/10 was distributed into the [(8/x) - (15/60)] so the -1x/5 is (8x/10)*-(15/60).

So really if you were to show the distributing step after the long formula it would read.

    30x/60 + (8x/10)*(8/x) - (8x/10)*(15/60)

Which then gives you the next line.

Can you work it out a bit further. Seems like it still doesn't fit.

if that doesn't workout paste this one in the formula box

    x * 30/60 + 8x/10 * (8/x - 15/60) = 8

Much obliged. Seems my method with 1/4 was also correct. I just got confuses trying to follow it.

This saves me one math headache.
