No proof as far as I know, but it does make sense.

I read a fic where Mihawk made an eye the price of his training, like Odin (Norse mythology).

That's what i'm trying to imply. There's still more mystery behind the eye and their new powers seriously can't wait to see them all out in the sea n in action.

N i'm not trying to deny the fact that He have lost his Eye but there's still no proof that if his eye's lost or jus close.

yea and WHY WOULD EVERYONE JUS ASSUME THAT ZORO LOST HIS EYE JUS COS HE'S LIKE this

I'm jus implying my theory and wishing the possible facts no offense to anyone

Dude, don't ever compare One Piece to Bleach! One Piece is and will always be infinitely better!

I say Zoro just lost his eye during training.

how about something like nightvision? Resting one eye during the day so when he opens it, he can see clearly in the dark? Some people believe that this is the main reason why some pirates wore eyepatches.

But to be honest the most probable thing right now is that the left eye is gone.

Actually that would be pretty cool, using the opposite eye at night, admittedly kind of unlikely, but still cool.

Isn't the reason is so that they can go below deck and still see, but it would seem to be really bad if a light was shined in their faces. I doubt zoro would need to see in the dark that much. It just seems more reasonable if he didn't lose his eye to close it to allow the enemy to have an advantage, since his depth perception will be off and he will have a much larger blind side.
