Default Will this turn into those standard time traveling paradoxes?

if you all remember the grand father paradox where if you go back in time and kill you grand father before he has a chance to conceive on of your parents and in turn you will cease to exist. And the episode in Futurama then what if Iroha is actually her own mother and their will be time traveler's incest that creates the time traveler in the future

Yea i thought of that but I think there are much higher chances of him ending up with Nanako. That being said there is also the possibility that Iroha isn't really his daughter, she seems the type to make that sort of mistake, or she could be being tricked by the one who was talking to her through the watch (though that wouldn't explain the other two). You also have to look at the fact that if she is successful in stopping him from being a perverted devil king with 500 wives then he will also end up not marrying either Iroha's or the other girls (forgot her name) or that guy's mother (assuming he is another descendant) the point being at least two, maybe even all tree, of them will end up not being born.

Hopefully things like this will be cleared up before the end of the manga.

actually, it is a common misinterpretation, the time paradox that is. You see IF you COULD travel back in time, most people think YOU are traveling back in time, it's easy to assume this is your don't have a clear understanding of light and relativity...you see it's not actually YOU going back in time, but the universe itself...by time traveling all you are doing is staying the same, the universe itself is the one that goes back in time, HOWEVER, if this was to occur. there are a few things that must be considered...first off you cannot travel to the future, due to light not having traveled there. In addition, i do believe the many worlds principle (basically...every action has an opposite action and therefore parallel universes are made with each action being present in at least one of the universes...this means there are infinite parallel universes), it would so happen that if time travel occurred, the MOMENT that occurred, a new parallel universe would be created in compensation...

....that was longer than i thought, and i tried to shorten it to...IN CONCLUSION, no the paradox does not occur, you can kill whoever you want, do whatever you want, but it will only affect the universe that you are currently in, not the original one.

The time paradox itself is, simply put, just that if you continuously take a half of something you will never get to the designated point...you will get as close to it, but never reach it, yet time does so...

take for instance 12:00pm, your designated time is 1:00pm...if you continuously cut the time in between in half, you will never REACH 1:00pm -> 60 minutes -> 30 minutes -> 15 -> 7.5 -> 3.75 and so on and so forth
you will get to 0.00000000000000000???~~~ close to 1:00pm but, logically, you should never reach it...and yet it happens, this is the time paradox.

....i'm not trying to do anything =3 i just love explaining stuff, so any chance i get (when i come across manga with posts related to physics, AI. quantum, etc) i like to post =3

future notice: i am currently being fuled by several different emotions that clash against each other, so i will have two replies in this post

    1) WHO THE **** CARES IF IT IS A PARADOX, I WANT TO READ MORE, IT WAS JUST GETTING INTERESTING, I WANT TO READ MORE

2)and yah, iroha is already creating a time paradox as if you change the past effects caused by it will have a lot of effect. by changing her fathers behavior to get him to live by changing him back to the good guy he is is going to already erace most of the children he has in the future, which might include both of the daughters that has time traveled. and the son taht has just been revealed or claims to be his son. if he kills his father before he ****ed his mother and basically gave birth to him, he will erase himself as well, as if his father died before his sperm fertilized his mothers egg, then he will simply never existed and then becuase he never existed, his fathers death never happened and thus another paradox is created. so even if he did suceed in killing his father, his father will in one way or another continue to live.

but how ever, a time paradox can be canceled out by a parallel universe. as time goes onn, there is an infinite or theoretical infinite number of choices that can be made. for example, before i came on mangafox to post or read manga, i could have choosen not to and at this time period, i coudl have already be doing homework. so there is one world where i am doing homework at the time i post this and the univers where i posted this message. and even then there arestill unlimited number of universes as instead of posting on this forum, i could have continued to read other magnas as well. at least 100 to the power of x where x is any positive integer.

and with that i am done with my rant and every one can continue to to argue for all i care

I wouldn't say its a misinterpretation but an alternative interpretation. Your theory assumes that time is based on light and relativity and within such confines that makes perfect sense. However, its limited by the assumption that what we currently understand about light and relativity is correct and absolute.

HOWEVER, if you assume that what we know about light and relativity is crude and has a great deal of unknowns that we have yet to explore, then your entire theory assumes that all those crude and unknowns aspects completely and utterly do not touch or debunk your theory.

Time is relative to the person who perceives it, so in a way, time travel is possible. It's just, people will think you're crazy if you do it in public. Also it won't work, according to everyone else.
