Im pretty sure the dude becomes everything they wear and use i.e. armor and weapons, that’s why they get “embarrassed” after each transformation. That and it gives it away in more detail in the first transformation with the things he’s feeling and her reactions. And everything they say during that time is just sexual innuendo. Ok, let me explain.

The Vita unit and Vita bracelet is a set which need 2 persons to totally utilize it.

As you all know, the Vita unit must be activate by using a card from the Vita bracelet.

In all the fusion, it seems that Vita unit host must be a female, an Alice to be exact. but there's no indication on the sex on the user of the Vita bracelet.

The fusion occurs and the Vita bracelet user's soul will posses the Alice who holds the Vita unit, and body of the bracelet user will transfer into the virtual server at the same time.

The bracelet user will control the unit's function such as equipment and weapons ( I was thinking whether the guy is able to send sensations to different place of the armor and "touch" the girl. 'blush').

But without the unit activated, the bracelet user's soul remain in Alice's body, while the bracelet user's body remains in the virtual server but only in certain period of time.

Is that clear enough for you all?

From What i gathered it takes the energy signatures of both the user and host to activate much like the two keys on a nuclear warhead. The VITA then transports the users body and mind into another Deimension where their two consciousness merge in the hosts body.

lol, this is a manga the place where the impossibility also equals possibility, anything can happen no need for logic...
but what i know is that through the VITA devices, the dude possess the armour and partially the body of the host/girl
then he acts as a operator to the pilot which is the girl, during the fuse, his physical body is transfered to another dimension, in one of the chapters he accidentally transfer to a random room. simply he's turns into something like a A.I in a battle suit assisting the wielder
