Raizo lovers!!XD

at the middle of the story i was like "damn it's so obvious Raizo's in love with Tamako" and i was really wondering why he wasn't admitting it.....

i know it was explained at the end but don't you wish that he will declare his love for her and Kanji gets all jealous since Raizo was SO close with Tamako....(and it would've made the series a bit longer X3)

i LOVE the ending and all that but it would've been so much romantic and funny if Raizo did became Kanji's rival

I like the Kanji and Tamako pairing, but I still think Raizo should have ended up with Tamako. They both were on the same wavelength and looked so cute together, but oh well, I guess the ending makes it a happy story.

Nah. I think its perfect just like that. Tanaka-sensei has a knack for pacing characters and conflict, and the lovers had enough angst between them. They didn't need a rival to push it along. He could have added another volume by mixing up additional problems, but that would have diluted the story too much and weakened the series.
(That's the problem with 50% of shojo manga - good characters, dragged too long. Another 30% goes wrong when you have a good storyline with pathetic characters, and another 10% fails on the "esoteric" card - trying to make a love story into something it's not. Which leaves you with about 10% of the genre as good stories worth reading to the end.)

But I would love to see a one shot just about Raizo!

I think this manga was pretty good and funny too! and i really like Raizo!! he's so sweet and cute and goodlooking too x///3 He would have made a good boyfriend for tamako-chan... but the ending was good like this... Even so, we should not forget that Raizo got the first (french) KISS of Tamako-chan -hihihihi-

Yeah, although Tamako and Kanji seem to fit together, I still think Raizo and Tamako matches up so cute together! After all, Tamako's first kiss was taken by Raizo!

Hmm I actually liked the fact that they didn't make Raizo a love rival. I mean, usually that brings out the worst in people, while obstacles in work/etc tend to bring out the best in people And anyway I love the main couple (I mean, CUTE much!) and I don't really mind Raizo's ending so I'm happy. It also prevents me from having to feel so sorry for Raizo when he inevitably loses.
