Today was their final chapter before the hiatus, which was supposed to go until January, but now it looks like it'll go on much longer, and may even be permanent.

This is our final release of Birdy for the foreseeable future. We might pick it up again, but I doubt it. So I set it free. Let anyone who wishes to translate it translate it. Of course, I have scans of all 20 volumes and will provide them to anyone who wishes to continue the series. Anyway, it's been a blast so thanks for reading.
As you may or may not know, 2BIG was only the second group to pick up this series after Chikan Manga folded. It would be a shame if this series was abandoned altogether, especially when he plot keeps getting more and more intriguing with each chapter (aliens beside the federation are investigating Revi, Birdy's strained relationship with the federation, the return of Undine). And of course, Birdy is just such a cool character, and this series is so well-written, action packed, artistic and catchy that it deserves regular scanslations (it deserves to be properly lisenced and released in English, but that's another matter).

I'm really hoping a big group with enough manpower for weekly updates could take over, like Franky House, but anything would be good at this point. So if you know anybody in a group, or want to scanslate it for yourself, then follow he links bellow. Contact anyone who might be able to help.

It would be great if someone could get the scanslations caught up with the Japanese releases, but that might be a while off.
