Q: I miss the old version. Can we switch between the old version and the new version?

A: The transition to the new version’s complete. For those who miss the old version, you can visit the old MF at http://v1.mangafox.com

You can either type in the URL address or simply by clicking “Classic Version” at the bottom of the front page.

One thing though, we won't add more features to the old version in the future.

Q: What new features does the new version have?

A: Once you get more familiar with the various new features, you’d find they make your reading easier, and your stay here more interesting.

First of all, there’s now a search bar at the top of EVERY page, so you don’t have to go to manga directory to find a specific manga. The search bar would even offer auto-suggestions as you type in the letters.

Can’t remember the title of the manga you’re looking for? Easy. Click on “Advanced Search”. There’re a handful of filters to help you narrow your search – including the new manga (Japanese) / manhwa (Korean) filter.

We’ve upgraded our search engine too. Now, when you’re searching via genre, you can include certain genres as well as exclude those you don’t want to see.

Secondly, for those who’d like to be reminded of manga updates, we now offer email prompters. Simply type in your email address and subscribe to be updated.

Thirdly, there’s a new section “Manga of the Week” on the front page with recommendation of an excellent but not so popular manga every week. If you have such a manga to recommend, feel free to post here.

Fourthly and most importantly, “Bookmark” feature’s now made available! ^__^ Once you’re signed in, you can bookmark all mangas you’re reading, and pick up your reading from there next time.

Oh, also, now you can chat while reading:

Q: Help me! All my past bookmarked manga chapters (links) are no longer valid with site transition. >_<

A: m.d. has coded a script to translate the old links to new ones. All your bookmarks are saved and back to life again. <333 So, thanks to him!

If you've got old urls that still don't work, plz post the old URLs in the forum, and m.d. will try to fix it for you. (Again, thx to him~~~ lol)

Q: Flags! Flags! Flags! I want “new” and “updated” flags when a manga’s updated or is newly uploaded.

A: “new”/ “updated” flags are through the whole site – front page, manga directory, search results, bookmark page… One word really: everywhere~ lol

Q: Are there other ways to turn to the next page while reading manga instead of pressing the next and prev. buttons?

A: You can simply press -> <- keys on your keyboard to turn the pages. It saves a lot of time and effort. :p

Q: The huge banners on the front page is annoying… and kind of boring too.

A: Currently, when certain hot manga’s been updated, there will be a banner for that specific manga on the front page. In the future, when there’re certain events, it will be reflected there too.
